It was my 1st time there ever tonight, we met Barbara the owner who was an absolute gem, I enjoyed talking with her! Our waiter Abe helped me with my selection (homemade gnocchi in Alfredo sauce), the gnocchi looked like little pillows, but the flavor was out of this world! It was silky, light with the perfect mix of cheese and butter-if you have the chance you need to try this dish I cannot rave enough! My boyfriend, who is in the fish business very rarely has a good experience with other restaurants seafood but tonight, I watched as he took his first taste and his eyebrows went up, and he looked at me and said this is how a seafood dish should taste , he absolutely enjoyed his meal. I visited for the first time on Saturday and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I ordered a dish that contained mushrooms, which I’m allergic to, so I had to throw it away. I wasn’t able to address the issue that day because I was looking forward to a meal on Monday. When I returned today, I informed them that my pasta sauce had mushrooms in it, but they didn’t even apologize for the mistake. They just shrugged, as if it didn’t matter. I also ordered a pizza for my partner, and while it was decent, I won't be ordering any pasta dishes from them again after this experience. I would have given them five stars, but due to the mushroom incident, I'm only giving them three.
Cinelli's is, without a doubt, the place for Penne alla vodka and tiramisu around! From the moment you enter, feel welcome. Since it was my first time, I was amazed by all the great opinions and could not decide. Our waiter recommended the Penne alla vodka and when I said I was vegetarian, he assured me that it was not a problem and that they would do it without meat. So glad he made this recommendation, and as a vegetarian it was a real treat! After dinner I ordered Tiramisu and again, WOW! Give the best version of it and this is my way to any restaurant, so trust me on this.
I'll start saying that the food is great here. The pizza, the rolls and the chicken wings are delicious. But if I am treated with the disregard I have received at my order. It just makes a bad taste in my mouth. Rude. Unprofessional. If you pick up this phone on the other lines, you have to go back to the kindergarten and learn some manners. I am horrified, disgusted, insulted and outraged that they do not know any human power. But I'll say it again to be clear that you have great food.
