Cinnamon Tree, Mortimer

The Cinnamon Tree used to be the go to local place great food etc. We haven't been for a number of years since their last refurb when we didn't have a good experience (not romantic no curtains, bright lights, part decorated.)Roll on a few years and a treat to go out. On my booking I'd requested to be sat away from the speaker; we were placed directly under it. No bother, it was quiet when we arrived and the music was quiet. The service was quite slow but ok. The food wasn't super hot, rather more room temperature and actually, and sadly, didn't have much flavour though on a plus side it wasn't laden with salt. I did notice the tables put together next to us but thought it would be ok. Howeve...

Always a good meal here. I’ve done the all you can eat Sunday buffet a few times, currently it is £13.95 for adults £7.95 for children. They do not sell alcohol but you can take your own. The service is excellent, friendly atmosphere.
