Went for lunch. Too hot to sit outside, inside was extremely NOISY! Music was blasting on top of the busy restaurant clatter. I could not speak to the server or have a conversation with my husband (sitting next to me) without yelling. The service was minimal and the food mediocre. We had to ask for butter with the bread (which was rubbery) and the butter was brought out frozen. The calamari appetizer was delivered with no side plates for sharing nor the hot pepper we had asked for when ordering it. My husband had to ask twice for cheese on his Capellini ai Frutti di Mare in which the sauce was tasty but contained a few mussels, only 2 tiny clams and some under-cooked calamari. My Veal Scaloppini Marsala was good. Just good. Last week, for less , we had a great steak lunch with Impeccable Service at your sister restaurant, so we had expected the same here. What a disappointment!!!
Let's lose the obnoxious attitude gentleman. Your location food is quite good, however, let's keep in mind that all customers are important. I didn't come out to be treated like I was a bother or unimportant. All wait staff maître d' should be courtesy at all times, that has NOT been the case at Cippolini for quite some time. Take a lesson from your sister restaurants and be kinder and less pretentious, behavior matters and so do your customers. Hoping you will read and reflect..
