One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. It was my daughter's birthday and we made reservations for twelve...when we got there they had not honored our reservation and it took close to forty minutes to be seated. We were seated for some time before we could even order but once we had and got our food it was good and we were having a good time. Now towards the end, we had mostly finished and they did everything short of physically throwing us out the door. First the lights came up somewhat and then totally. Next they opened the back door and it was January 13th so they planned to freeze us out. Given the fact that we had to wait so long to be seated regardless of our reserv...
This place is fantastic. Food is flavorful, decor is really really nice. Great place for date night. Has an upscale feel. Drinks are really good too. Only issue is a slight wait after being seated and dinner. BUT to be honest it’s worth the wait. There’s food for any lifestyle vegan or otherwise. Highly recommend. It's a busy place, particularly the Friday I was there. Confirm your request when you receive it, that it's what you actually ordered. I usually take a photo of it on the menu to remember. It's a bit pricey because of the location near New York City. It was worth the drive too. It's a packed place and parking can be tricky. You get the feeling of fine dining while there. Great Food!!!! This is truly my favorite Indian restaurant in New York. There is always a scrumptious dish that makes me come back for more and more! One of my favorite dishes is the Byrani rice whether made with chicken or goat, with Chicken Masala. I strongly urge that if you love Indian food like I do, then you must stop by Citrus and try their amazing dishes! Not to mention that they offer a buffet, that is delicious and varied. First time trying Indian food and it was amazing! Love the atmosphere and vibe. Can't wait to return. They open at 4:30pm on Saturday.
