Citrus Breakfast & Lunch

Great service. Terrible acoustics, this restaurant for sure needs more sound dampening as it can get extremely loud. It’s a cheap fix that makes a huge difference. The food is pretty standard for brunch, nothing out of the ordinary. The English muffins used for their Eggs Benedict dishes are extremely tough. As in you basically need a steak knife to eat them, which makes combining the toppings with the muffin in one bite very difficult. The prices are reasonable compared to most brunch places in Norfolk and VB.

Bright and airy is the best way to describe the interior. The service was quick and friendly. The food is great. They have different spins on a lot of the basic dishes. Example: the syrup that came with my wife's chicken and waffles had Sriracha sauce added. Not a lot, but enough to give a little kick. My sausage links had a lot of flavor without being greasy. I can see why they have the designation of best breakfasts

Good breakfast or brunch option for a splurge. But it's only a splurge because the prices are high not because the food is decadent. Leans more towards breakfast so if you're looking for something without eggs, the menu becomes pretty limited. Service is also just adequate, nothing special. Nice outdoor seating, though, as long as you don't mind the noise from Oceana.

The food had no taste. Seasons or adding salsa in Burrito would have helped.
