Disinterested staff, who leave you sitting there for half an hour in an empty room, with only two other clients. Go to bar to order food fed up at being ignored. Wait another 10 minutes before asking whether your drink was coming, receive apologies by manager and offer of that glass coming free. Was served with a slow cooked rib of beef which had obviously been heated in the microwave and was therefore like chewing on a tyre, to be told by sighing waitress that it’s a bit tough because it’s cooked sous vide. I thought that technique was meant to make it ridiculously tender, but then what would I know? Couldn’t eat any of the meat sensibly, so left all of it on the plate, but was still charge...
We arrived in the hotel at dinnertime. As the weather was awful, along with not being familiar with Leeds, we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. What a mistake! We waited a ridiculously long time for essentially a meal that could've been whipped up in a local cafe for a fraction of the cost. I had the steak pie with chips which was ok: the pie was a bit scorched on one side, but otherwise fine. It came with a tablespoon of mushy peas, watery tasteless gravy and a few chips. Breakfast is fantastic really sets you up for the day, nice staff too Dinner was also spot on we were fed up with the Christmas stuff so went for salads and burgers, the room was very relaxed, and felt so nice, after dinner we relaxed in the lounge area and played board games, then up to bed, there are disadvantages to nice places like this, you do not want to go out, just stay in the hotel
Whilst in Leeds I was pleasantly surprised at this nice little bar hidden away on the 3rd floor of the Hilton in Neville Street. From ground level go up to level 3 and the bar is located on your left . Whilst it’s a great restaurant , at night you get a nice pleasant group of people getting together for drinks away from the main hub of the city .I would really recommend a visit .

We did not have proper evening meal here although we did have sandwiches and drinks. We also had breakfast. Tat breakfast there was a good selection of health and not so healthy food. There were cereals and fruit and cooked breakfast. We found the staff pleasant, helpful and efficient
Stayed here in work trip, buffet style breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was good with large selection. Lunch was awful, limited choice, not enough food. I’m not sure if this was because couple of business events in but def would not eat lunch again here
A late meal after a long days rail travel, we had a late meal for 4 very friendly waiter the food was reasonable not cheap not to be expected in a city centre Hilton hotel, could not have been that bad we had another meal there the night after.
I was using the shower in room 611 and noticed that down was hot up was cold. But it was in reverse and i ended up burning myself with the water that went onto my face. Not a happy bunny.

in my experiences several stays over last year) the place is too cold the staff too young or inexperienced although they try very hard) The food however is very good
we got late dinner on city3 restaurant. the server are very fast and helpfull for the group dinner. really appreciated
