all of their food has been excellent. The brisket chili is exceptional. Also the fresh cut fries are awesome. Their homemade coleslaw they're in house. Food made their they have excellent chocolate cake, banana pudding another awesome food brisket cant be compared!. I've been there many many times and never have I ever had a bad piece of food ever or an anything less. I'll go back there every time to eat. In fact I just stopped and got a quart of the brisket chili Saturday night I'm telling you if you haven't had it y'all need to go and check out the brisket chili! no one makes any of it like that. yummy good! and you can get on the side, the jalapeños, sour cream, and shredded cheese to go...
I have always loved this restaurant. Ribs, brisket and pulled pork are awesome. We had family over for lunch today and we got a pound of pulled chicken as one of our family members does eat pork or beef. Unfortunately I didn 't check it before I got home. My wife opened up the container and it was full of white water and what looked like boiled chicken. Apparently it was a thawed out container of pulled chicken . Absolutely disgusting, covered in a white slime resembling mayo. My daughter did not eat anything and went home early. Wife told me to get Montgomery Inn pulled chicken but I told her they have great stuff. Very disappointed. The pulled pork was fine.
I ordered takeout from City Barbecue, possibly through DoorDash, and was disappointed with the portion sizes. We ordered 2 1/2 pounds of beef brisket and pulled pork, but they seemed much smaller than what we would get at the restaurant. Even my son's kids meal didn't come with a piece of Texas toast. It's not a big expense to include a piece of toast for a child. I ended up giving him some of ours. It seems like City Barbecue is cutting costs and portion sizes, which is not a good move for their business. Overall, I was not impressed and will not be ordering from them through DoorDash again.
City BBQ is one of our favorite places for BBQ and Cincinnati definitely has its share of BBQ joints. The downside is they are pricing themselves out of the market. I had a Pulled Chicken Sandwich which was delicious and around $8. But they no longer offer meals, you have to add a combo to it one side and a drink was over $5, and two sides was another $7. For a family of 3 it cost us $60 to eat there. Their sides are wonderful. Corn Pudding is the best.

The restaurant provided generous portions for the price, offering a variety of meat choices and sides. The woman at the counter was very friendly, and we were even given free pickle chips with our meal. They were crisp and had just the right amount of dill flavor. Overall, a great experience!
For the umpteenth time, our order was missing items. Our daughter drove all the way back to the restaurant (40 minutes round trip) to get the items and was rewarded with a piece of cake not very useful to someone who's gluten free. Fool me once....
City BBQ is pretty darn good. Might be a little pricey. Might be a chain. Still chicken and pork are really good. There sometimes a bit of confusion about who's ordering, what food is mine, and getting sauces.
Inside dining was dirty Ordered food to go and the pulled chicken was delivered in a paper tray. Chicken was tasteless, ribs were greasy and the sides were uninspired.

I absolutely adore Love City Barbeque! The food is consistently fantastic and the service is top-notch. It's the perfect spot to grab some delicious BBQ in a hurry.
Goldmine BbQ smoked sausage was very good and the french fries were great and not salty! First time there and enjoyed for lunch!
