We were in Cumberland, MD on only one night prior to biking the C&O Canal Towpath to WDC; thus were wanting a hearty meal. Our front desk hotel staff both unequivocally recommended City Lights, and we're Grateful they did! What a Wonderful dinner, both in Quality and Value! Come to dinner hungry! While their carmelized bussel sprout appetizer was Delicious, unless you are a Big eater know you will likely be taking (Wonderful) leftovers home. We were traveling through the area and wanted a local restaurant. It was in an area undergoing a major road upgrade which made it a slight challenge to get to but was definitely worth any inconvenience. The service was as quick and the food was delicious. Excellent food and drinks, along with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. The rear parking lot is easy to access, making it very convenient to enter through the back door.
