I recently went into this Bakery to get a Finger Bun and Iced Coffee. I must say that the finger bun was one of the very best I have ever had. It was fluffy and extremely fresh. The icing was also extremely yummy. I asked if there was any Iced Coffee left out the back, as the fridge was empty of them. The owner then stepped out from the back of the shop saying the milk truck had just arrived. He then raced out to the truck and then gave it to me. GREAT service. I must say that the shop does seem to be a little squashy and needs a bit of a face lift, but it is very clean
My recent experience at the restaurant by the beach during lunchtime was disappointing. The small quiche lacked flavor, with no cheese, seasoning, or even salt. Priced at over $5, it did not meet expectations. The cauliflower cake was also bland and unappetizing, with a strange white sauce, no cheese, and lacking salt. Both dishes were small and overpriced. The drinks were also expensive. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone living nearby, as it is not worth the money. It seemed empty, so perhaps others already know to avoid it.
I love this chic family owned and run bakery near the esplanade on Beach Road, Christies Beach. Known for their delicious sausage rolls and chocolate donuts, they're also regularly receiving awards for their bakery items including SA's Best Hot Cross Buns!! It's a tough choice...when the shelves of yummy baked goods awaits you as you first walk in the door, but whatever you choose it's sure to taste good. They make coffees and cold drinks too and you can sit outside.
Everything we ate was amazing. I had an curried egg sandwich which was probably the best I’ve ever eaten. The bread was excellent. I had an apple donut, highly recommended!! My husband had a vegetarian sausage roll which he raved over and my daughter also...liked her biscuits which were shaped like Christmas ornaments.

This is my preferred bakery in the area as the goods are always fresh and delicious. The vanilla slice is not to be missed- it won awards for a reason! The other sweets are awesome too. I can’t wait for hot cross bun season!
The sponge was so fresh and the fresh cream was delicious. It was overall a taste sensation which we all raved about. Andrew made this cake visually perfect and exactly what I asked for.
they make the best maize I've eaten. the CJ castors are special, but they must be fast as they sell early. the personal is always friendly. bakery in large size
Great pies and pasties and cakes definitely the best I have had . Friendly staff highly recommend.They make the best Cornish pasties and very reasonably priced
