Very late and too tired to go on. Made a booking at the clermont caravan park and from the very warm welcome it was a lovely stay. Pulling a trailer I was lucky to have parking out the front of the cabin drive straight through, no reversing :) our cabin had everything we needed. In the light we could see a well maintained park with lovely grassed areas. Would visit again.
A dog friendly cabin that actually allowed us to have our two medium sized dogs in the cabin! Already a winner! Clean, comfortable, what more can one ask, just pleased to be somewhere where they truly live up to their dog friendly name!! Unlike most other places that say they are, but expect your dog to be happy sleeping outside in a foreign place.....
Despite being fully booked, we, like many other travellers caught out and stranded because of the rain, the managers accepted as many caravans as they could placing them on edge of driveways and like us, between cabins. we really appreciated their kindness. On leaving they were reassuring travellers as to which roads were open.
After already driving 5000km from Perth with almost another 1000 to go to Cairns and many, many dodgy encounters, this was a real oasis. Lovingly cared for park, warm welcome, totally dog friendly, everything clean and green and safe for one old girl in a tent and her big brown dog. Thank you for such a pleasant stay! antiquated and very noisy air-con poor broken and dirty kitchen utensils, staff enter occupied cabin while guests are not present notification of accompanying small dog was not well accepted and incurred extra $30 charge park has many mine worker accommodation, very early starters
We stayed here on a camping trip in the low season so there were plenty of sites for our camper. Although the park was a little tired and never had all the bling of the larger and better-known parks, it was well maintained, shady and clean. I would definitely stay here again.
Was travelling south and needed an overnight stop. We found this site on the web and decided to give it a go. It turned out a good decision as the park was clean and tidy, we got a warm welcome so would recommend it.
Cute little hidden grocery store / restaurant tucked in a neighborhood. There isn't a ton of seating, but most of the seating is next to large windows Réservez une table maintenant
