Cliffs Steakhouse - Réservation de table

Steak was very under cooked. I asked for medium rare and it came out rare with the intent on flushing the cooking process on the searing hot plate. The problem was it came out right after the salad so by the time I got to the steak the plate was room temp and couldn’t finish “cooking”. There were some pieces that were done eventually, but for the most part the $50 t-bone was inedible. Also the only flavor on the steak was “char”. No seasoning whatsoever. I got a baked potato and there was no salt, no butter, and no pepper on the table. So I had a bland potato. To go with my bland steak. The servers never came by to “check-in”. Table bread was stale. I guess that’s what I get for going there...

Had a wonder meal at this restaurant At first I was pp⁰thinking of celebrating my birthday at another restaurant, but after reading all the 5 star reviews decided to give it a tried. I was glad I did. My meal was terrific. I want to thank Peter, one of the owner's family member making my birthday a special one. I will definitely come back, I highly recommend this Place! On my list for one of the top steakhouses in North Jersey! Porterhouse Tomahawk are always a hit! Their pasta is always fresh and full of flavor . Staff is always attentive and make you feel like family. Very cozy and intimate setting. This has been my to go Italian steakhouse for the last year! P.S. They have a great wine selection.
