Cliffside Diner

This little hidden diner behind the Capitol of Kentucky has incredible burgers, cheese steaks, hot browns, beans and cornbread and many other favorite convenience foods. Known for their delicious burgers, but on this trip we had a hot brown and an open face roast beef. Taters, green beans, beans soup and corn bread. Loved every bite of it! The place is a small diner with very limited seat, some cabins and counter seat. Groups over 4 find it hard to sit together except at the bar. The staff was friendly. Parking is right in the vault on a cliff, so be very careful when taking off. I highly recommend getting a bite there when I'm Frankfort.

People, atmosphere, food and workers are all together 5 stars. Although I was out of town, I was made to feel like a local, and I can't even begin to describe the food. Amazing. I love this place every next time I come to Kentucky, I bring all my friends:

This is a nice restaurant where locals gather. There was a wide variety of dishes, and the served ones were delicious. It seemed to have good infection control.

I often drove past this place and never stopped. We finally stopped and were glad we did. Good food and good service. What else could you want?
