I have been visiting Club Hotel for years but have never thought to do a review. My favourite meal is Chicken Schnitzel with a French Topper. The topper is avocado, bacon, camembert cheese and hollandaise sauce. This is just devine. I usually have it served with mashed potato and vegetables. We had garlic bread as a starter, I had my usual and my partner this time had his schnitzel with the Salt & Pepper calamari topper. I have tried their pizzas - which I enjoyed - but my 'usual' is my favourite. My ONLY complaint this visit was that they have changed to Pepsi products instead of Coke. Staff are helpful and friendly, and tables are far enough apart for privacy.
We've been here with small groups many times over the past 5 years. In my opinion their standards have slipped, badly. Staff tend to change frequently maybe because it's owned by COLES. Menus are inconsistent and keep changing for the worse. My steaks have been tough and no apology. Meals are often served contrary to what was ordered. Drinks are expensive @ $30 a bottle of wine. No table service. Queue to order food and prepay - disappointingly bad - we'll leave this place go for another 6 months or so to see if they lift their game?
We have been to this restaurant many times and always left somewhat disappointed. This time however, there was a marked improvement to both food and service. Our waitress was professional, efficient and charming. I had the schnitzel topped with a Mexican topper which was lovely. The chips and salad were the perfect size and not drowned in dressing like previously. My partner had steak which she said was much better than normal. It was cooked perfectly and not grisly. Hoping they can keep it up!
On overall appearance I would rate it three stars, however, the food quality bumper it up a star. A group of four attended for lunch today, being a Tuesday. Very quite in the restaurant. Payed $12 for entree and $25 for main course. Staff were very good. Food was very good. Only negative was the cleanses/ condition of some of the lounges. Looked a little like too many drinks spilt on them.Overall good spot for lunch.

went there for lunch yesterday..no many people there.... WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER BEEN SERVED... SMALL PORTIONS THAT WOULD NOT SATISFY A KID... the meals took 40 min... STAFF Lied and said they were on way but they had forgotton order... YOU ONLY HAVE TO CAST EYE OVER THE STAFF TO SEE YOURE IN LOGAN CITY... ROUGH AS GUTS... so called chef was a young tatooed logan feral. never again
This would have to have been the worst meal I have ever been served. Not one component of the meal was made in house and the salad was not even made with any type of care.
This is a venue you DO NOT want to visit!
After living in the area for over 20 years and going to this venue a few times to "give them another chance" on
I love a good pub meal and the club hotel here is definitely a good spot for big homey meals that are very affordable, food for value.

Good venue with good food at pub prices. Had similar food at other pubs for double the price. Most lunch meals priced around the $15.
It was quick visit to this pub with friends. They offer good meals at cheap prices. We all enjoyed our food and get together.
