We had a very pleasant walk from the hotel. We were warmly welcomed in this house turned restaurant that has a beautiful terrace. The staff was attentive, helpful and very pleasant. The menu includes a variety of appetizers, soups and salads, sandwiches and... burgers and attracts a variety of tastes. My husband enjoyed his penne pasta with mushrooms and chicken, which was a nice large portion. I had boiled salmon over a lime Parmesan Pesto with rice and fresh mixed vegetables. The balance of rice and salmon was good and I was particularly pleased that the pesto that was delicious was enough that every bite of my salmon had some. Excellent setting, this test is in a beautiful historical house. The food is delicious. Portions are large. I had the table d'hôte, which came with a terrine , a main course of duck and a dessert. The dessert was not to my licking but everything...else was excellent. They could up their beer menu with having local craft beers, they only have macros. Would return 100%. It is on the pricier side of things in the city but still affordable meal with a drink was $50+tip. If your in town check this place out. Staff is very courteous and friendly.
As one of the top rated and more expensive restaurants in Valleyfield, I expected better. After we were seated in the lightly populated center of the restaurant, we were ignored for an uncomfortable amount of time. This set the stage for the rest of the...experience. Simple hamburgers took almost an hour. The wait-staff never checked on us during our meal to refill drinks. When it was time to pay, we waited and waited. Finally, we were able to flag down another server to locate ours. The only real positive was good French onion soup.
We decided at the last minute to try a new location for our Easter Sunday evening dinner. Menu selections from which to choose were abundant (including the Chef's suggestions, as well as the regular Sunday specials, and the regular full menu). Both of us were...pleased with our choices. I recently visited this amazing resto bar. I had a great time. I was with a group of 10 people. I sat outside on their awesome terasse. Service was quick and the waitress and waiters were very good. Drinks are great as well as the...food. Very elegant place. Strongly recommend visiting this place especially if you are looking for a classy place for date night.
It was on business trip at 8.30 on Monday night. Many restaurants are closed, but they served me shortly before closing. Had the nuts crust goat cheese as starter and duck as main, both were very delicious. Service was great and... friendly. We've been here for years and it's always a pleasure to come back.
With reservations and was excluded from sitting outside as an ethically brown person. My white friend asked to sit at the bar and they agreed immediately when I was a minority, they said it was not a room. Very disappointing, considering that they are an appealing menu, but 100% white clientele.
many people it is the 0lace to party at night, the food was ok, but presentation.... let's say the pictures are better then there plates. it had most expensive plate fillets mignon it was good, but for the price a few frits with 2,3 vegetables...and the meat ..for this pr8ce come on Réservez une table maintenant
