We recently held an engagement party at The Hill Tavern and were disappointed with our experience. Despite spending a significant amount of money, we did not receive the food we had ordered. When I raised this issue with the manager, he promised to address the issue with our event planner and apologized for the mistake. Unfortunately, by the time the food arrived, some of my guests had already eaten and what was served was subpar. The chicken dish was inedible and the pasta sauce seemed to be from a jar. This experience was extremely frustrating and embarrassing, ultimately ruining the celebration I had spent months planning. I will not be recommending this restaurant to others.
Our wedding was beautiful but only because of the people we brought with us. The staff on the day did nothing to help. Thank god for my bridal party was there to make sure the room was set up in the right way. My guest book was never put out because they did not look over the notes that we had left for them. Jennifer the bridal concierge thanks my bridal party for setting up the room because they were not able to do it. The even planners leading up to the event fell short. When emailing good luck trying to get a response. Took at least a week. My wedding file was lost with all the choices we had made in it. The venue is beautiful. Food is great. Staff is not accommodating.
Last night, I had the pleasure of being the DJ for a great event at this restaurant! In my 16 years of experience, I have never met such dedicated and hardworking colleagues. From the cleaning crew to the servers, kitchen staff, and the manager, everyone was friendly, helpful, and fun to be around. The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Assistant Manager Mike and the manager were absolute joys to work with. If you are looking for a venue to host an event, I highly recommend this place because the staff is happy and that really speaks volumes about the establishment.
you have done a great job. kristina helped my man and me so much and you were very flexible with us. our guests really enjoyed the food and drinks. it was a fantastic experience that you are ready for my man and I, we cannot thank you enough.
