"We discovered genuine kindness and really good food. I had ravioli soup and grilled shrimps. We LOVED it. It seemed a bit strange first to eat Vietnamese in the heart of French winery but it was worth every minute."

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Co Ba recently. With a warm welcome from Pierre, the service was attentive and thoughtful all evening. The food was superb. An excellent menu, all cooked fresh to order and an authentic Vietnamese experience. Wonderful flavours. Many people visiting Paulliac might overlook this side street restaurant, but I would urge you to visit Co Ba. It runs rings around the sea front eateries. We will return next time we’re in Pauillac, thank you for a wonderful evening and memory!

Touring Bordeaux and wine country? Tired of the usual foie gras, duck and duck and foie gras. This new Vietnamese restaurant half a block off the Quai in Pauillac is excellent. The “nem” was perfect. Rice noodle soup with duck (you only get so far away from it) and shitakes was excellent. Worth the stop for a quick lunch.

Absolutely delicious Vietnamese food right in the middle of Pauillac... Not only a welcome break from relentless meals of cheese, but worthy of a visit in its own right. Super friendly service, and excellent food (we kept ordering more) . Thank you for a lpvely evening!

2nd visit following a trip with friends in June. Fantastic food both times, fresh and well cooked. Host is super friendly and looked after us superbly on both visits. Will come back and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
