This place is wonderful and Michael and Hannah were amazing. We were there for a few days and got to know them a little. On our last morning at we left Hannah wrote on my cup a message for safe travels. Talk about service! btw, the coffee and Chai tea were both excellent. Sorry we only had a few days in St. Albans. Will definitely stop in the next time we are in the area.Parking: Parking in front was a little hard, but there was a lot more in the back of the building.
I stopped in for a coffee cookie on my way to an AirBnb. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the products I asked about. The chocolate chip cookie was delicious as was the decaf Irish cream latte I ordered. As an added bonus, I found 2 books I can’t wait to dive into in the used book section. Thank you for making my day a little sweeter ?
By far the best coffee I’ve had in my life! The creations they come up with , amaze me! Hannah is amazing and always upon request makes me her own creations. This beats Starbucks anyday. I only wish they had other locations, I’m from Kentucky and everytime I’m in town for awhile I come here everyday that I am! It’s just that good!
This is by far the best café in the area. Great coffee food, friendly service from baristas who go above beyond. Owned operated by an amazing couple who love the community and just want to provide friendly quality service. Coal River Coffee is the kind of place that proves why small businesses give heart to a great community.
We chose the Red Dragon Lattes! The Barista said it was like a Red Velvet Latte? of course that was our choice! Excellent place to chill enjoy! We placed my Dads Bench outside their door! #hometowngirl support this locally family owned small business? Worth getting off the Interstate! #supportinglocal
Tried the lemonade and it was absolutely delicious. The owner is incredibly friendly, and made time to talk to us and get to know us a little, which speaks really well for their future customer service and commitment to building and being a part of our community. Can’t wait until you’re open!
