Coastal Cafe - Réservation de table

I have never had a bad meal from this local café until today! I arrived at 2 o'clock and unfortunately, my favorite sandwich was burnt and the bread was hard. The filling of the sandwich was also all over the place. The pastrami sandwich was tough and not tasty at all, which was disappointing as I have enjoyed it many times before. The worst part was that the fries were inedible. I even tried different fries to see if I could find a decent one, but they were all bad. I have never had such a terrible taste. This is my first complaint here, as usually the food is great. Maybe the cook had a bad day, as the bar was not busy. I am not sure what the problem was today.

What an incredible restaurant! I have visited a few times and the service has always been wonderful. On my last visit, I had the pleasure of catching up with a friend and taking a bite to eat. The owner took the time to come over and introduce himself to my son and me. He sat with us for about 15 minutes, chatting with my son and offering him words of encouragement. Those words truly made a difference that day. We felt so welcomed and will definitely be returning more often.

Our waitress, Stefanie, was amazing. She was friendly, had a warm smile, was well-spoken, and provided just the right amount of attention without being overbearing. The prices were reasonable, and whenever I visit my family in Virginia Beach, we make sure to dine at this restaurant at least once during our trip.

we live in the neighbourhood and have been there for years. Eat is good. wings are ridiculously good. Now that they have added their outside seats, I have to raise my mother and children for garnel Tuesday! we love this place! Réservez une table maintenant

Cozy place, friendly staff, tasty food and great prices. Not a fancy place though. If you want ambiance, go somewhere else! This is a bar/diner with a great patio. Super casual with simple good food.

Sleeper hit. The cook, Terrance, who essentially works every day, is a master in his craft. This is not your ordinary dive bar food. Whatever is on their special menu is highly recommended.

The food at Coastal is among some of the best food in Hampton roads. Possibly even the state. The always changing specials is where it's at. Unique flavors will keep you coming back.
