This is a review that I never thought I would ever have to write. Cocco's in Primos was a family favorite of ours for about 30 something years. It was our default meal most weekends when my children were young. We even introduced the next generation in my grandchildren. It is where I met up with many of friends throughout the years to hangout, eat some decent food and catchup. The food isn’t of great quality or taste. That’s excusable to some degree. The issue is as we ate we saw a rat. One of the workers casually says “Yea we had an exterminator out Friday. I will get them back out”. We asked if the meal was comped being that we just ate food that is being stored and prepared around rats and God knows what else. They said they needed to check with their boss and that’s fair. They come back and say “you need to pay half” and here’s the bosses number. We didn’t think that’s was right at all. My husband ordered a Detroit style pizza. The pizza was over cooked and burnt. I called to inform them the condition of the pizza. A female answered the phone asked me to hold while she got her manager. A male got on the phone and pretend to be handling the issue. He put me on hold, the female picked back up I guess by a mistake. Put me back on hold then tge call was disconnected. I called back and a guy by tge name of Donni answered. Went on Sunday, after church with family . I was half through eating my food and saw a rat in the food service front counter area . I understand this can happen to any business. But the team was very rude to me at first until one person said they would take care of my meal because of the inconvenience. Also they said they had an exterminator come out Friday. So they know this is a recent issue. I have been coming here since a kid and i normally have great experiences but this is the first time i have been since new management and the food quality and service is needs some training. It's been quite some time since i ordered from Coco's in Drexel Hill and what I thought was good pizza special and expect to get the full amount of my special. I just got home, open the wings. And the deal for 10 wings And we only got eight, not to mention the pizza was burnt .Seems like in the back it is just a bunch of kids working and I could assume that the kids don't even know how to count to 10. Just had the worst experience here. Started with our food being subpar. We use to frequent Coccos regularly under the old management. However since the change our experience with food quality has declined. Today marked our last time as we saw rats in the glow counter and were then treated rudely when we ask to speak to management and for our meal to be compensated after our experience. I ordered pizza and something has changed. The pizza was not as good as it usually is. The inside of the crust was almost like it had an air bubble all the way around, the bottom was over cooked and whoever made the pizza smashed it into the box even though it didn't fit.
