Cochemer Weinstube

Auch wir haben uns leider auf der Suche nach einem Mittags-Snack von dem äußeren ersten Eindruck täuschen lassen.Die "Weinstube" macht ihren Namen nach in der Optik durchaus Punkte, dabei bleibt es aber auch.Wir entschieden uns (zum Glück) nur für jeweils ein "Feta-Bruschetta" für jeweils 7,90 € und eine Cola für 3,90 € (0,2 l).Was dann kam ließ einen erstmal den Mund offen stehen....Auf einen kleinen Teller befanden sich 2 Scheiben Toastis mit Tomatenfetzen und.... Moment mal.... Feta??? Diesen musste man mit der Lupe suchen....Zur Aufklärung: es handelte sich hier um aus dem Discounter bekannten runden Toastbrot für ca. 0,89 Cent (6er Pack Toastis). Geschmack war einfach nur fade und trocken. 7,90 € dafür? Der Hohn kommt zum Schluss: serviert von einem missmutigen Kellner, der dazu Italiener war?! Gerade er müsste doch wissen, was ein Bruschetta ist. Sollte man meinen. Zu den Getränken: Die Cola war ohne Kohlensäure. Einziger Lichtblick war der Espresso für gerade mal 1,20 €.Na denkste: der Espresso war nahezu kalt.... Wer hatte uns nochmal das Essen serviert und sollte sich mit derartigen Speisen eigentlich auskennen? Gut, da wir an dem Tag eh schon sehr gestresst, müde und genervt waren hatten wir es als Mittags-Snack Desaster mental abgeschrieben, da wir wussten dass wir für abends noch in einem sehr guten Restaurant gebucht hatten. Viel zu lieb wie wir sind hatten wir dann den Endbetrag aufgerundet (immerhin 0,20 Cent Trinkgeld: dies ist übrigens eine Premiere gewesen, sonst geben wir weitaus mehr!). Auf das Trinkgeld hatte der Kellner nochmal nachgefragt ob der Betrag korrekt sei.Ob dies aufgrund mangelnder Akustik oder des Betrages erfolgte, kann ich nicht unterstellen, aber Touristen -die auf guten Geschmack mit moderaten Preisen achten- sollten diese Touri-Falle meiden!

The weinstube is very cosy decorated. There is a lot of stuff on the table, too much we think. The little cloth on the table could use some water and soap or at least a wipe (lot of crumbles). The menu looks exactly like the...menu in the restaurant we were yesterday (a few restaurantes allong the street). Even the description of the dishes was in the same words! This gave us the feeling that there is only one owner for a lot of restaurants. Unfortunately the quality of the food was exactly the same as the restaurant yesterday. Not a lot of flavour and you could tell that it is straight out of a can/box. The french fries were great. Staff is friendly, but not local. They do not interact with the customers at all. One of them stood outside blocking our view.

Visited as a family of 4 which included a 20 month and 6 year old. Sat inside downstairs as it was packed above and we didn't want to disturb anyone - while my kids are well behaved the young one can lose patience and I prefer not to disturb others. Had a small kids menu and ordered a shared dish for the children and ordered a nice pork steak with pepper sauce for me. Food was good. Bus boy type came by often for plates. Seems as if two servers shared duties. As we were only one of a few tables downstairs seemed like we would get less attention but that wasn't the case. Server went out of his way to pay attention to the kids and gave them a little sweet snack (like gummy bears) to keep them smiling.All in all a pleasant experience.

Sehr schönes Ambiente,nahe der Mosel gelegen mit netter Bedienung. Leider fürchterliches Essen. Mein Steak war kurz vor dem schlecht werden, also leicht säuerlich,musste also weg. Pfui !!! Wurde aber anstandslos getauscht. ich entschied mich für ein Schnitzel das vor Fett nur so triefte und schnell durch die Fritteuse gejagt wurde.Oben drauf Pilze aus dem Glas. Salat mit Dressing lieblos und geschmackloses fertig-Dressing. Pommes wabbelig . Auf Wunsch gibt es eine Tube LIDL-Majo dazu.Toll !!!! Können wir keinem empfehlen !!! Gibt genug Alternativen !!!

Unpolite, incompetent service. Nothing good to be said about this place. We were a group of 10. Orders were forgotten several times. One person in our group received the food when everyone else had already eaten. Expensive, considering the quality of the food. Very poor...selection of wine!
