Finally a great local pub that still is a pub but also serves great food. We had a meal to be shared.Tomahawk Steak. It was cooked perfectly you don’t need any extras as it comes with chips , garnish snd 2 sauces. I would advise pre ordering as it takes time to prepare and cook. We waited about 1/2 hour which isn’t long in my opinion. There wasn’t any toughness to the meat at all. Staff are lovely and chef gave us personal attention and advice. Thank you we will see you again. Oh by the way Sunday lunch is lovely too.

Great traditional pub! Loads of beers to choose from. Food was excellent! Loads of options to choose from. Had one of the best pies ever.. packed full of really tender meat.. no chewy bits.. Devine!! Fast service, welcoming staff! Cannot recommend enough!

Mid week and didn't fancy cooking, so we tried this place on our way home, pleasantly surprised. It's a little bit quiet but genuinely lovely traditional pub food and a lovely setting.
