When you get tired of Kebaps and Schnitzel while in Landstuhl, or want to touch base with fellow American expats, stop in here. The locals have told me it's a bit on the pricy side for restaurants in the area, but you get what you pay for.The service is fast, the staff friendly to the point of remembering your name the second time you return, and the food is excellent. Reservations are accepted but you can usually drop in and sit at a table or at the bar if you like. The staff have all been there for at minimum of five years, based on my visits, and they all speak excellent English. My favorite dessert was a Nutella Crepe, whipped up by the owners 10 year old son!
Durch TripAdvisor sind wir auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Man wird freundlich empfangen und behandelt. Die Preise sind ok. Wir haben einen Alkoholfreien Cocktail genommen und dazu den Cockpit Burger. Der Cocktail war sehr gut und der Burger schmeckte auch. Wir fanden die Zusammenstellung auf dem Teller super. Man konnte die Beilagen für den Burger selbst bestimmen. Das Ambiente war toll. Wir mussten ein wenig warten bis wir die Rechnung erhielten. Aber alles zusammen war gut.
Locale decisamente originale che ricorda un piccolo museo dell'aviazione. Cucina locale/internazionale di ottimo livello. Consigliato anche per un cocktail aperitivo. Il personale parla inglese ed i prezzi sono decisamente ragionevoli! Consiglio di prenotare per il week end. Di sicuro ci tornerò!
I had spargel, Rahm Schnitzel, salad. The food was great each time. The place gets crowded. Many Americans eat at this restaurant also. The service is a little slow but it is worth the wait. You will need a doggie bag. The portions are huge.

The menu here has a lot of food options. The food was good and came quickly. There are not a lot of vegetarian options on the menu but a few to choose from. The cocktails were yummy!!! Nice cozy atmosphere and nice waitstaff.
Kurzfristige Reservierung war kein Problem. Dank des schnellen Service konnten wir trotz anstehenden Kinobesuchs in Ruhe essen und dies war auch gut da, da das Ripeye-Steak vom Lavastein-Grill perfekt war.
Great ambience and pretty good food. Service is very professional and the restaurant is very clean and nice. Some good German dishes and American stuff too. Huge bar.

I had the Schnitzel and asparagus and it was amazing. Plenty of tables available or seating at the bar. All aviation themed.
Best Tom Collins I've ever had! Never tried the food but the drinks are definitely top notch! We will be back here for sure.
