As for the staff: my experience was fantastic! They thoroughly explained the menu, highlighted the specials, and made the entire dining experience comfortable, helpful, and professional. These folks genuinely care about serving good food! When it comes to the menu selections, they are incredibly flavorful! The dishes were moist (not dry) and had just the right amount of spice. The rice and peas were perfectly prepared, providing a wonderful take on a classic dish. Absolutely "spot on"! I was pleasantly surprised and highly recommend it! The atmosphere in the restaurant is also inviting; it has a fantastic vibe. The food was simply great! You should definitely check this place out before it...
Very good Jamaican food with a variety of vegan options. The restaurant is very small but also has a meal in the area with some tables. On the side of the restaurant you can also find outdoor seating. The order can be challenging, because when entering it is difficult to tell who is waiting for order, who is waiting for the food they have just ordered and who picks up the food that was ordered via the phone. There's a lot of jockey from people at the counter. The person who takes orders often also takes telephone orders and collects payments all at once. All that is said, the young lady who takes the orders is somehow able to manage everything with ease and keep the river.
When I ordered the curry shrimp, which is cooked to order, I anticipated a bit of a wait for preparation, and I was fine with that. To my surprise, it was ready quicker than I expected! The food was freshly made and incredibly flavorful. It was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of spices. I really appreciate that all made-to-order dishes were prepared and ready to serve alongside the boiled shrimp. Keep up the excellent work! The combination of speed and quality will undoubtedly draw in customers. I encourage you to maintain or even exceed this standard. I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to my family and friends. Well done!
Had the curry shrimp , which is cooked to orde, i was expecting on a wait time , since it had to be prepared which i was ok with. To my suprise it was faster than I thought. The food was freshly made, and was very tastey . It was perfectly done..just the accur amount of seasoning for the meal, i admire that all cooked to order meals where pre prepared and ready to go whenever a cooked to order meal was ordered. Keep up the good work the promptlyness and the grear tasting food will always attract customers. I encourage you all too keep or exceed this standard.. i will for sure return and recommend this place to family and friends.. big up Réservez une table maintenant
$15 for rice and bones ?? Ehh. I?ll pass. First and last. The most frustrating thing to experience when hungry is to open your plate and pick through bones. Also, curry doesn?t taste like this. Not sure what kind of ?curry? is being used. Check your plate before you leave. 2 stars because there?s probably potential here since some of the flavors are decent? but you can still get double the meat portion at Dutch Pot for a THIRD of the price here. By the way, Dutch Pot is regular.
Ordered 2 meals Brown stew snapper with vegetables and curry tofu with bammy. $39.13. Definitely not worth the price. Fish had no seasoning, taste like they just poured gravy over the fish. Not sure what they considered curry but that's the most bland curry ever. Didn't even smell like curry. Veggies just taste like it's boiled in water, not a bit of flavor. Can you say DISAPPOINTED!
