Visited this morning and was shocked by the lack of Covid safe procedures. Since the recent rule change on mandatory facemasks being worn until you are seated was introduced, we all understand it's a pain but are trying to do our bit to keep each other safe. People were strolling in and around without masks including the server. Yes, there's hand sanitiser available on entry but hardly anyone using it and no track trace being carried out. The place was packed with little or no social distancing especially the queue to be served. Really, it's a potential virus hotbed. No management around to speak with and I certainly won't be returning. Please do something to make this coffee shop safe for y...
I’ve been coming here for a few years and loved it, loved it past tense, sadly in the last three weeks I have been short changed six times, once I accept, twice at a push but it happens so often it’s time to find somewhere else. It’s sad that I the customer have to tell the staff what coins im missing. When you point it out to them the look of confusion is staggering. Sorry CR the new staff simply can’t do there sums, time to move on!!!!!
Here we could sit down and relax, out of the drizzle. As it happens, we also wanted a drink and snack to revive us. If you are there before 11:00 you can get a coffee and snack for £3.49 tremendous value! The deal offers a bacon croissant with the coffee; as they were out of croissants, we got a toastie each even better value!! The coffee is awesome and the toastie was tasty. I was a regular here. Seriously gone down hill sadly. Poor service and the whole coffee shop now feels grubby. Dirty floors. Furniture mucky and chairs scattered everywhere. Cake and muffin cabinets so dirty with stains it’s hard to see through. Has this place changed ownership? It was sharp and well run not so long ago. Unlikely to return.

Called here on Monday for a coffee. Never again! The tables and floor were filthy. I had to clean the table top. Crumbs all over the floor. The cabinets holding cakes etc were grubby too. We bought a wrapped biscuit to be safe. There were only a handful of people there so no excuse really. Sugar bowls mostly empty too.
Started using CR a year ago, loved coming here great coffee, fab service, and then, a change of staff and sadly my last three visits have resulted in being forgotten about three times, twice getting my order wrong and twice giving me additional drinks I’ve never ordered. I hope things improve
The only place in Bedford to get a full-on proper dry cappuccino .. no fancy Dan syrups or left field milk, just a good old fashioned wake me up cup of honest to god coffee .. Big thank you to Tami, the super barista who cares enough to mane it happen every time..
Indian man doesn’t mean the difference between a capuccino and tea with milk and i never seen in my life a stupid girl like her. If they won’t served us cappuccino because had clean the machine, that’s okay just tell us.

Went last sat was ok again 2day 18th with 5 other ppl service was a bit slow was quite busy coffee not 2 bad 1 of my friends had trouble with her hot choc was cold when got wait ages got a refund a free drink
Amazing place. Coffee is amazing and is a very relaxed place. I come here every week and definitely recommend it.
