This place is going downhill quickly. I stopped by for my usual morning coffee and cake, but things were not right. Frozen scones were on display, the microwave was broken, they had no till receipts, and sugar and sweeteners were hidden behind the counter. The usually high standards were missing, and it's concerning that these issues were not being addressed, especially with the cafe being busy. Hopefully, this was just a one-time occurrence, but they need to take these issues more seriously. This was a big disappointment.
I can't believe the previous review, it seems like someone was set on complaining no matter what. The reality is that space is limited, and if you stay there for a long time using the internet, your tea will end up overbrewed. I've been a patron for years, always receiving a warm welcome and enjoying great coffee. It's important to consider reserving the large family table for families if possible, and to move to a smaller table if one becomes available - it's just common courtesy.
We called in to Coffee #1 for lunch on 06.11.2021 whilst visitng our daughter who lives in the area and enjoyed a lovely selection of toasties and wraps and a selection of Hot Chocolate, Coffee and Tea served by an extrtemely courteous and welcoming staff This is a great coffee shop, a lovely place to relax on some comfy settees and enjoy some family time together. I'd highly recommend and would be very happy to return the next time we're in the area
we called for lunch while we visit our daughters who live in the opposite and enjoyed a nice selection of toasties and wraps and a selection of hot chocolate, coffee and tee served by a venerable and friendly staff. this is a great coffee shop, a beautiful place to relax on some comfortable settees and enjoy some family time together. I would recommend it and would be very happy to return the next time we are in the opposite.

Friendly staff who work hard. They are knowledgeble. food is fresh and tasty. good coffee beans. . Used beans given to customers to use in gardens. Good atmosphere. Clean toilet facilities.. Plenty of seating. Child friendly. Assistance dogs allowed. Regulars, and visitors. Wi fi is useful and popular. Good meeting place for locals.
Slow service, congested seating area, only Cloud available, unhelpful staff, awkward App. Unnumbered wooden spoons for table service assistance. Why 3 1/2 sausages in a bap?? The accessory table has no sugar, you have to ask. No, not the best.
I’m regular customer here with my 2-Boyz always find the staff so friendly always lovely atmosphere here... As my boyz have Austim so just nice we can just relax.. The coffee here just lovely.. The Staff always serve’s you with smile...
A lovely friendly coffee shop. Great staff. Great service. Great coffee selection. Great food. We always return here and are never disappointed. Keep up the good standards folks.

Friendly polite welcoming staff. Coffee was delicious and perfect temperature. Muffins and cheesecakes lovely and fresh. Will definitely be going there again
Had oat milk latte it wasn’t nice and the ham cheese toast was disgusting
