Another boutique coffee shop but I actually like this one except they don't give free or even discounted refills on their self-service drip coffees. Pretty stingy. Good vibes here and nice staff. Walk-in to get coffee with my grandson this morning and the woman behind the counter yells “ our espresso machine is broken so unless you already have a coffee you need to get out!” So I said this might be a silly question but can I just get a hot chocolate? She replies no like i said the machine is broken. So I asked if I can just get a regular coffee and she tells me I am scaring her and being aggressive and need to leave!!! Not sure if it’s under new management but the last two experiences have been rude customer service. Not sure I’ll go back.

I went with my baby today, she was able to enjoy a bagel while I had my coffee. The person we ordered our coffee from was very sweet and welcoming. Coffeetopia is one of my favorite coffee places in Santa Cruz area. I love their Mexican mocha. Iced or hot. They have good breakfast burritos and other food items. Friendly staff too. Réservez une table maintenant
