3.5 stars for eating5 stars for the personal and atmosphere. the Tri-Tip and büffelburger ordered. both came with 1 side, we ordered the two bean rings and the black bean game Chili.(extra $3) the buffaloburger was good, quite standard with salat and choice of cheese and so was the black bean game chili. I really wanted to like the Tri-Tip sandwich, but it was hard to chew. it comes with the sauces that have helped. I tried to order the hot apple wine, but it was sold. Overall, I would only come back for a drink and enjoy the atmosphere. the personal and the live music made it really a wonderful little place at the weekend.

Had a cup of chilli to start. Roasted veggie salad was a big salad delicious. Hubby ordered grilled cheese sandwich was large, delicious and filling, fries were crisp. Hoppy Poppy beer. Service is always friendly, they came back to check on us several times, refilled water and lemonade. This is a favorite stop for lunch when we are in the area. You can call to make lunch reservations.

It's been awhile since I've been there, but the chili was, and has been, the best I've ever had! The beautiful, rustic atmosphere is wonderful to unwind around and about. History at its finest.

Reservations required for indoor dining/full menu. The tri-tip sandwiches are outstanding, and they are available without reservation at the outdoor sandwich cart. Very reasonable

Stopped in for some lunch from a suggestion from my Dad who frequented this joint 50-60 years ago. Was a really good burger! Cool place.
