Coldstream Fish Bites

On Friday 13th September 2024 I went there with Leanne and I had a piece of Grilled Flake with half chips and 2 potato cakes/2 fried dim sims to take home. Leanne had half chips with 2 potato cakes/2 steamed dim sims. It was extremely nice of the man to change it from a fried flake to a grilled flake since fried flake makes me sick and it causes me an upset stomach/diarrhoea. Service: Dine in

We love this place! Been having dinner here once a week for the past 3 years. The shop itself doesn’t look anything fancy, but the fish and chips taste great. Food is always good here but this time potato cakes and chips were particularly on point! We don't go anywhere else in the yarra valley when we're craving fish n chips, no one can beat these guys. Prices reasonable too. Nice park to sit at outside and public toilet behinds. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Awful! The batter on the fish was too thick and oily, and the chips were burnt. The staff seemed uninterested in providing good service. Definitely not recommending this place. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Service and chips are good but the fish wasn't very nice. Didn't taste fresh at all. Will not be returning and only recommend the chips as they were cooked well. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
