This experience was absolutely terrible, and I will never return. We paid way too much for disgusting beer, and the staff actually KICKED us (all six of us, including four older people) out, telling us, “Don’t ever come back again.” He then locked the door and walked away. My friend and I were just trying to enjoy a nice time at a table with two older couples, sharing laughs and great conversation. The staff's attitude and behavior were appalling and he should be embarrassed. It was truly awful. Save your money and go somewhere that values your patronage. This place is terrible and has always been. This incident was just the last straw.
I came here on 9/4. They have a sign on the door that masks are required. Not even the bartender today was wearing a mask. Didn't care at all. During the indoor mask mandate too. Clearly they think COVID's a joke if they're putting up that sign for show. Update: owner's response clearly ignored the Washington state law that was effective on 8/23/21.I guess he thinks he is above the law... On August 23rd, Washington State Secretary of Health Umair A. Shah, M.D., MPH, amended Order 20-03 requiring face masks for everyone over five years of age in most public indoor settings regardless of vaccination status. Nice look, owner.
Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Upon entering, the bartender displayed a lack of enthusiasm, making us feel unwelcome. Charging $3 for a 2-ounce sample served in a plastic dressing container seemed excessive. Perhaps this frugal approach was his way of being merciful. The five beers we sampled were far from impressive; we could hardly manage more than a sip. They were all under-carbonated and muddled, with noticeable and unwelcome diacetyl flavors. I'm truly surprised that this place has gained such popularity.

First off, the beer is great and they have a nice place to sit outside and enjoy your brew. Secondly, the people serving the beer are super friendly and quick to come light a heater nearby. Enumclaw has really handled this COVID situation well. Cole Street is alive and doing business, and The Cole Street Brewery is such a nice addition. We are lucky to have them in town.
Love coming here for some great beer. Staff is kind and friendly. All the Beer is delicious! Love the vibe of this place. Whenever we visit here the Owner is always running around the place and making sure everything is running smoothly. Appreciate this Business and will continue to support it.
