Sooo sad to do that I've been here for 10 years, but that's the second time in a period of about 2 months that I found hair in my sandwich. I always ran over this place, but unfortunately I don't look back because hair in food is a BIG no no. I noticed that the staff does not wear hair nets and that must be the reason. I worked in the food industry before and I know how this is possible, but it's stomach bleeding when it happens. I'm really disappointed and disgusting.
The sandwiches here are amazing! They are big enough to feed you for two meals, so be prepared to take some home with you. They only use the freshest ingredients and stuff your sandwich full to the brim. After ordering at the counter, they take your name and you are free to roam around the shop, browse the interesting side dish, snack and drink options. When your sandwich is ready, they call you back and you bring your snack selections to the register to pay.
In my opinion, this is the best sandwich spot in the whole Bay Area. They do not skimp on ingredients. The only thing negative I have to say is there is a lot of meat in the sandwiches, but that?s a personal preference. Other than that, their sandwiches and sides are fresh and delicious. I also recommend taking some of their homemade frozen raviolis home too!
Great sandwiches! Nice selection of meats and condiments to add. Great selection of pastas, dry and fresh made, cheese and sauces to take home for dinner. Flatbread was fresh and flavorful. Staff was so helpful. Unexpectedly took care of lunch and dinner in one trip, and both were delicious! Réservez une table maintenant
We are from the Central Valley and every time we come to Pacifica, we make it a point to stop and get a delicous sandwich... this trip was a godfather and its special Cadillac Jack... be prepared for a little wait because all the sandwiches are fresh for you, but well wait
I live in Pacifica and enjoyed Columbos Deli for years. In San Bruno, I went to lunch with my Hubby. You need new possession bread was stale ingredients sub par. Needless to say we were very disappointed and will never return. A family business went away
We ordered online, and then went to pick it up. Were they fast... No. We got there before our scheduled time slot, and had to wait a few minutes. Was it worth the wait... Yes! We got the Godfather and the Godmother. Both were outstanding !!
Here for many years high quality ingredients, fresh made bread / rolls. You cut as you order so that the meat does not sit around, takes a little longer, but we? I'm going to Philadelphia Hoagie, great Italian sub! Réservez une table maintenant
Great little place to pick up a sandwich, some cold cut cheese or imported Italian products. Staff are super nice and welcome. My Tuscan turkey was delicious!!
