Tasty pub food. My husband reports this is the best and freshest fish he 's had ... ever! And he 's from Florida! (Wait ... what about that redfish I filleted and grilled within two minutes of him catching it at Fort DeSoto that one camping trip 30 years ago? Guess that memory been replaced. This is an interesting restaurant that isn 't ' fancy or much to look at and even caters to summer hiking or winter snowmobiling crowd, so the food has to be outstanding. Excellent burgers and onion rings, and the lemonade required refills, it was that thirst-quenching.
Pulled in after a hike at bear swamp , thought it was closed , glad I went and opened the door . Was greeted by Andy The owner . Who was such pleasure . We ordered a couple of cocktails and the swamp chicken wings delicious sauce . Place is unassuming. Don't pass it up . After reading other reviews wish I had ordered the perch as well. Dan came out from the kitchen and was such a nice guy too . Will certainly be back to order other specialties .
Always a great place to stop for lunch, dinner or a beer but I have never ordered their catering until this Christmas and am upset it took me this long!!! Everything was delicious, easy to order (they did a la cart so we could pick and choose what worked for our family) and pick up execution was effortless! I will be ordering again and highly recommend it, thank you!!!
This place is a hidden gem! One of my favorite places to eat. If you come through here please try there delicious Perch fish dinner. The owner is super friendly and a great guy. Amazing homemade food worth eating and relishing the moment. Absolute treasure of a find! My barber referred this place to me and my fiance. Superb restaurant!!! A 5/5 stars! Thank you!!
