We visited yesterday and were greatly disappointed. Firstly, the portions of the toppings were very small. I got a Sundae which didn't come with whipped cream, (who doesn't put whipped cream on a Sundae? I asked if I could have whipped cream on it andthe girl says yes for an extra charge which I said fine to and she gave me a tiny bit of whipped cream. I also found the flavorof the custard very underwhelming. I got chocolate and it barely tasted like chocolate. Finally we realized after we left thatwe were overcharged for what we ordered. Unfortunately we are staying 25 minutes away and we're very tired so didn't want toturn around to go back.
This is a charming little hangout spot with a fun retro atmosphere, perfect for warm summer nights when you want to be out and about—definitely a better choice than just chilling at a Circle K or 7-Eleven, right, Bill? Absolutely, Ted. I’m not really into overly sweet ice cream, so I tried their Dole something or other, which was a cup of custard with a mild pineapple flavor. It was just okay for me. I usually prefer yogurt or gelato with a citrus twist, so I didn’t enjoy it much, but the service from the young staff was quite good.
The custard is decent—definitely the real deal when it comes to frozen custard. Many places advertise frozen custard but end up serving soft serve ice cream instead. I was happy to find that this place serves authentic frozen custard. In terms of quality, it's on par with what you'd get at Culver's. So if you have a Culver's nearby, there's no real need to make a special trip here. However, it can't compare to Kopp's at all. Réservez une table maintenant
My family and I were there yesterday and after speaking, we agreed the custard was fair. We have had way better custard with better portions of toppings for the price. After telling everyone that it cost 36 dollars my family was astonished. Wecalculated what everyone ordered, and we are no where near that total. We believe that the young lady ringing us up must havemiscalculated.
The custard here is fantastic! As a newcomer to the establishment, I wasn't sure what to expect. They offer classic vanilla and chocolate custard, along with a unique flavor of the day. While those are the only custard flavors, their selection of blizzard-style creations and sundaes is extensive! The service was also friendly and attentive.
I consider myself lucky to have a regular customer who makes a special effort to bring me and my staff the delight of a pint of the regularly changing flavors of Comet Custard. Each one consistently impresses me with its nuanced quality. If you haven't tried Comet Custard, you’re missing out. Consider yourself warned!
