Commercial Hotel - Réservation de table

Came for dinner and waited for 1 hour and 50 minutues from ordering our meal to being served our meal.Noticed that wait staff apologised to friends at other tabels about the long wait, although never came to us.We asked (after a hour and a half) how much longer our meals would be and the waitress never came back to give us an amswer. We then asked her to get her manager, which she also didn't do. Upon ordering our food we were told that the meal would be a 45 minute wait. If a kitchen needs approximately 2 hours to make food due to the amount of orders, close the kitchen and don't serve anymore customers, or at least give a realistic expectation of time. Nice old style seating in a dining room setting with fire place and window views to the street, plus casual tables through out the pub.Order and pay at counter after which food is served to your table. Friendly staff. Craft beer if desired plus the regular beverages.Lunch was very good, with small serves available (which were still sizable!). I had a chicken and bacon burger which was quite nice with lovely bacon and fresh salad, the chips were hot and tasty. My other had a small chicken schitzel and salad and chips, also very tasty.We were passing on a Tuesday which as most shops here are closed Mon-Wed it was very quite and most enjoyable.

Popped in for a meal whilst staying at The Bronte. Turned out to be a stand up comedy night . Lovely meal . Used our free wine vouchers which we got from the hotel which was a bonus. Micro brewery on site, my husband tried several different beers. We were invited to stay for the comedy night by the manager which was a nice touch, as many of the audience had paid for the event. A nice friendly pub, offering good food at a reasonable price.

While staying in Morpeth, turned up to this pub not knowing what to expect. Turned out the meals were excellent as was the service and to enjoy a somewhat quieter 'ambience', pick a table on the verandah upstairs without the TV screens and the roar from the bar's patrons. Definitely recommend the food. Réservez une table maintenant

We ate here two nights, four different dishes, all well cooked and efficiently presented. Excellent beers brewed locally. A pity the historic building is the victim of a rather tasteless renovation - quite uncomfortable seating, though the carpeting dampened the noise level well.

Ordered the pork two ways from the specials board. Came out and the pork belly wasn't crispy, just fatty. I asked if I could have it crispy, the waiter took it back to the kitchen only to bring it out 5 minutes later and it be absolutely black and burnt. So not worth the $30!

It has a good atmosphere and is suitable for families with children. The menu has a good selection of meals at reasonable prices. There is also a good range of craft beers on tap made on site.

Stopped off for lunch on the way to Eagle Reach and had a great meal . The seafood basket was one of the best I have ever had
