This is a great place, the staff a very friendly and take the time to chat our server spoke excellent English) about the town and Portugal in general. But the best bit is the cakes and pastries Fantastic. We found this place after a so so lunch elsewhere, the coffee is excellent and the cakes are fantastic. We took away raspberry tart and lemon tart which were also very good. If we hadn't already had lunch we would have had it here. It just off a square with a fountain in the historic part of town. GO THERE !

Entered to take a quick breakfast, ended up with a delicious experience. There are a lot of treasures to choose from. I chose their “lemon pearl”. Very nice, not too sweet nor too acid, very well balanced. I definitely will return to try out other options.

This cafe is just off the main square and is the perfect place for lunch. We had tasty tuna tartlets in light puff pastry, then selected a cake from a display that reminded us of a French patisserie. Do try the local nata, custard tarts!

Live in Viana. Many cafe's/bakeries to choose from. This is one of the better ones. Good selection of baked goods including quiche, pies and sandwiches. Great coffee. Nicely situated just off the main square. Popular with local folks. Réservez une table maintenant

Great patisserie, very good service! It's a small bakery but it gives you the sense of a family business and quality control.
