My wife and I went recently for Sunday lunch. The menu offered an extensive choice at what looked like good value at €17. The starters 3 each were included albeit in very small portions. A salad, croquettes and Jamon with a scrambled egg. My wife had for her main three very small pieces of tuna and an even smaller portion of over-salted potatoes. All without flavour. My main course was a fish stew with rice. It contained 2 langoustines and a very small portion of shells that were mainly empty. Again this was heavily salted. We called on a Sunday and ate from the special menu not offered an alternative). The first thing that surprised us was that the 3 starters ham potatoes, seafood salad friend anchovies) we 're not subject to choice but you were given all 3. Immediatly we realised that the food was very low quality. probably from a very cheap freezer shop) We we 're not offered the customary bread when we requested it found that it was old bread that had been reheated. My partner ordered lamb chops that were all bone fat. I ordered an entracote steak which looked pale incipid probably pre frozen) returned it as when I cut into it it smelled of fish! primera vez y agradable sorpresa para comer el menú. sin duda lugar para ir más a menudo y comer bien con el precio ajo. Era martes y estaba muy ocupado con gente de la zona. Segunda línea de playa y tal vez por eso encontramos un lugar. el único pero es el pequeño personal que asiste a las mesas y lo hace un poco estresante. En resumen, sitio de menú recomendado y con consejos para ir por primera vez para asegurar la mesa y la disponibilidad de los platos del menú. (se han acabado). Réservez une table maintenant
restaurante familiar gaditano, con menú del día entre semana durante 10€, y menú de fin de semana para 16€ que fue el que ordenamos e incluye 3 entradas de la casa, plato principal para elegir entre arroz variado, pescado y carnes, bebida, postre y café, nos comimos muy bien. el servicio un poco lento porque como digo es familiar y hay poco personal, estar completamente lleno, así que fue para nosotros esperar, pero de lo contrario buen valor para el dinero.
Es un restaurante sencillo, sin pretensiones, pero come muy bien, la comida en general es muy agradable, el arroz, los guisos, las papas fritas. Además, el precio de calidad ratio es magnífico. hasta hace poco el menú del día costó 10€, pero con la locura de las subidas de precios han tenido que subir, de cualquier manera tiene mucho que dar para comer por 11 euros con bebida y postre incluidos.
Pues que queréis que os diga. Por 18 euros del menú solo puedo decir que hemos comido de lujo.. el arroz estaba buenísimo, bien de punto, el grano suelto y cantidad más q suficiente. Los entrantes están muy bien también… mención especial para los huevos rotos porque nunca los había tomado con patatas panadera… pero estaban realmente bueno. Sitio totalmente recomendable.
Close-by the beach (just have to cross 1 road). Small variety of dishes, but all are appealing. Excellent value/quality. You may have take-away paella. May be noisy and not recomended if you are in a rush, but if you are at Campello, I suppose you are not in a hurry. Réservez une table maintenant
