This (sadly) was a disappointing experience. We had an apathetic waitress who (to start with) forgot our water order (and that was needed); then took too long to get back to us to place our orderI then watched a group of four come in and wait for more than 5 minutes, then leave after she passed their table having delivered food to another table (that was also wondering how long it was going to be before they got their food). Given this other group had just sat down, the waitress only had to say, "Hi" and they would have stayed (I reckon)As for us, when I finally had a chance to order, I very specifically asked for soft egg yolk on my fried eggs and bacon breakfast (with mushrooms) - My wife...
A friend asked me to meet her at an old fav cafe of hers... Unfortunately it proved to be very disappointing. The place was very busy and was disorganised. Our coffees came after ten minutes and one was wrong, large coffee, one shot reminiscent of warm milk..It was replaced, but by then my friend had drank hers. We ordered simple eggs on toast. My friends arrived first with cold toast, mine arrived later and was good, but we never ate together. We both agreed we will definitely avoid this place in future.
The setting here is lovely, the coffee good too, but big improvements needed on the breakfasts. I had a stack, and the turkish toast needed lots more toasting, the bacon was anything but crispy and a there was mayonnaise or aioli all over the place instead of what you'd expect to accompany a breakfast dish (pesto, relish etc)The strangest thing was they butter your toast not knowing if you ever want butter! If we had not ran out of time I would have asked for more.
Worst sliders ever the bun was breaking not fresh and not toasted with the smallest beef pattie on the burger. The salmon on the eggs benny wasn't cooked and if we weren't so hungry no one would have eaten their food. To make matters worse they wanted us to pay a 15% surcharge for a public holiday, what for? Terrible service and food worse than Maccas? I'll never visit your ordinary cafe again!

My friends and I had morning coffee and cake at this popular cafe and enjoyed the experience. The staff were smiling and efficient . Despite being busy we did not wait for ages to be served. The coffee was good and the muffins and berry loaf we had were fresh and appertising.
I was at the place next door - was totally ignored by multiple waitresses so I decided to try Connors
What a great experience.
Staff at Connors are very friendly coffee is very good they also have nice juices and the banana bread is pretty yummy.
Delicious Moroccan chicken salad. Great service and all the staff here are so so sweet. Thank you for a lovely lunch.
