We ordered a Basic Burger and a Mandarin Salad, which ultimately led us to downgrade our rating by two stars. The burger was perfectly cooked to medium and accompanied by hot, tasty fries. Unfortunately, the salad did not meet expectations—it included just a few cups of chopped romaine, some shredded red cabbage, a handful of sliced almonds, packaged wontons, and a few orange slices. What an amazing restaurant! The ambiance is stunning, and I really appreciate the oven right in the center of everything. If you want to support a local business, this is definitely the place to eat. The pizza is a perfect appetizer; one order is just enough for two people. Everything we tried was delicious, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The service was quick and friendly. Food was above average and service was good. I don't think it was spectacular but everything tasted well enough that we didn't have any complaints. Steak came out medium rare as I ordered it so that's enough to make me happy most of the time. My wife said she enjoyed he salmon and that it was seasoned well. The truffle fries were very good.
We had a fantastic brunch! The menu was really fun. We chose a high-top table near the bar on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy our meal. The only downside was that people waiting for tables gathered by the door and bar area, which felt a bit intrusive. However, the mushroom, onion, and Swiss omelet was absolutely divine.
Cook is a restaurant worth trying at least once, though I’m uncertain if I’d go back. I didn’t particularly enjoy the shrimp bowl I ordered, and the passion fruit mocktail I had didn’t quite meet my expectations. That said, many of my friends were happy with their food, and the ambiance was very enjoyable!
