We went to Cooks Soldiers for a double date with old friends and it was one of the best Spanish experiences outside of Spain! They have an interesting menu with tons of Tapas. I also love the upscale rustic atmosphere. Very Spain. We ended up just ordering from the Pintxos menu and splitting each dish four ways (which worked great! We had so many that I cannot comment on them all but I will say that our favorites were the Bikini Grilled Cheese and Pork Cheek Croquetas. Though I don't drink, the beer and wine list was extensive. They also had some great cocktails. This is definitely a place to come spend a few hours to drink and eat (just as the Spanish intended . Spanish food is hard to find...
I went for happy hour with a group of 4 on a Tuesday. The deals for happy hour aren’t that great. They have $5 gin tonics, which is nice, but for food, they only offer 3 different bites (literal bites) of food for $1, and you can only get one bite per drink. I got the Vegetarian Bikini (grilled cheese with truffle, $9). It was very, very good. I dipped it in the Ibérico Albondigas sauce and that was delicious too. Note on parking valet at the deck off of 14th street and get your ticket validated at the host stand. Valet took cash, card, and even Venmo. Valet closes when the restaurant closes. Cool atmosphere. Excellent service, food that punches you in the face with flavor. This place has it all! I travel for business quite often and sit at my fair share of bars solo. The staff were super friendly. Michael helped me pick a few items out on the menu. The food arrived promptly and was so delicious. If I lived closer I’d be a regular for sure. Courtney gave me suggestions of a few local places to try while I was in town and was super friendly. It’s nice to meet new people who are passionate about their work. Bravo C&S! Five stars all around. Oh, doesn’t hurt the restaurant is modern and gorgeous…. If you haven’t been to C&S you’re missing out.
We have had Cooks Soldiers on our list for forever and we finally went last night. The food is spectacular! The seafood and the meats were all cooked to perfection. The homemade mountain bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Each dish had incredible flavor that made you want to keep trying different dishes. Our server Alex did a great job taking care of us and had great suggestions for us while we searched the menu. If you want to go to a place that can wow you, then Cooks Soldiers is the place.

The place is incredible! We were there for our anniversary and the whole staff made our night, celebrating our occasion! Alex and the team took such a good care of us! The aged steak is phenomenal, appetizers were delicious and the atmosphere is perfect for a romantic occasion or celebration. Definitely coming back for more of their delicious food!
Great location, very cool vibe indoors and the food was very good. Service was a bit disappointing. Definitely expect great service for the money you spend there. Also, we were 5 people but the tapas were always only four pieces… wished the waiter would’ve at least asked if we wanted 5 or just go above and beyond and tell the kitchen to prepare 5.
Beautiful looking restaurant and amazing food. The menu itself is so unique and the way they played with the flavours is just crazy. I would highly recommend Fideos Bogavante which is butter poached lobster with broken pasta and also try Ensalada. Both taste heavenly! cocktails were great too.
Been here twice and both experiences have been amazing! Wonderful service, amazing and unique food! Only small thing to note, the cauliflower was cooked over propane and unfortunately we could taste that in the meal. Very minimal compared to the overall 5 star experience!

Phenomenal experience. As a picky eater I was nervous but everything was delightful! Beautiful presentation and lots of options. My favorite was the “pigs in a blanket” type option so good. Great wine and cocktails as well. Would come back here in a heartbeat
Lots of tasty tapas dishes to share and enjoy. The 32oz steak was excellent but a little small.
