I had a spot of lunch in the Coopers on the very day I moved to Hitchin more than years ago, and about two decades later took my legal' first born there for his first official pint on the grounds that it was...the only place in the town centre where he wasn't already a known face, but apart from those two landmarks I'm hardly been a regular even though it's within walking distance. But it seemed a good choice for a spot of lunch in a place which had lots of room and would be unlikely to be crowded, which are things to bear in mind in these troubled times. Glad to see the popular Tuesday night quiz sessions are back, but we were there for food and it was a successful sortie friendly service,...
I and my friends went for a bite to eat, as not seen each other in months, so we decided to try out the cooper’s poor nice little pub in beautiful heated, good as soon as we arrived after a table and was ignored. of the female manager, then sit by a friendly waiter, preferably our food that was late and cold, complained to manager and nothing was solved, so left, since and then, clearly saying that I will not be back. unless she's gone.
popped in to a birthday weingutschein last Friday and the atmosphere, eat and service all excellent. worth for money extraordinary pub / restaurant meals everywhere else these days are a tenner plus so at among who can complain. meal. fantasy, hot and decent portions.
