I decided to visit this restaurant after seeing it on Yelp's Top 100 List, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It's conveniently located in downtown Brea, and parking was a breeze in the nearby parking structure. The restaurant features a lovely ambiance with a modern vibe. The menu offered a wide range of options, which was impressive. Our waiter, Pedro, was fantastic; he took the time to answer all our menu inquiries and made some excellent recommendations. Pedro, our server, was excellent; he was very attentive without being intrusive. The food was outstanding: I had barbacoa served with small flour tortillas, while my date enjoyed vegan tacos made with portobello mushrooms. We also shared guacamole and chips. The guacamole was a bit heavy on the onions, but overall, the homemade chunky guacamole was fantastic! The cocktails were great, and my coffee was delicious as well. This has quickly become our favorite new spot for date night! However, when we returned for Sunday brunch, the service was not nearly as good as our previous experience, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars.
This is my first review on any food place in a LONG time because honestly too lazy to write a review. BUUUT this place was awesome. Our waiter Pedro was on top of it. Very attentive, we never had an empty glass. He recommended excellent drinks was very thorough with explaining some menu items since it was our first time. my husband had the al pastor tacos and i had the la burger and it was delicious. We shared both and both were beyond expectation. Very flavorful. The environment was nice with dim lighting and good music. It was a great date night. Im excited for our next visit.
For dessert, I chose the tres leches, which was just the right touch. It was served in a small shot glass, making for the perfect portion size. But the highlight of the meal was definitely the horchata—it was the best I've ever had! Rich and creamy rather than watery and icy, it's a must-try for any horchata enthusiast like me. Our server, Taylor, was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I’ll definitely make a point to come back here again and next time, I’ll be sure to bring a bigger appetite!
Wow!!! First time here and it exceeded expectations. First off, the service was phenomenal. Thank you Pedro for such a wonderful experience!! We shared the enchilada trio and it was so good. We shared the winerita flight and that was also very good. I ordered myself the Rojo Sangria and it was excellent. Not too sweet and not too tart. The guacamole was generous and delicious as well. We will definitely be back to try other menu items. This was a great experience and we can't wait to be back.
The food and service were outstanding. I ordered the trio enchiladas, and they were absolutely perfect, while my partner thoroughly enjoyed her sea bass tacos. They also offer a fantastic margarita flight featuring four different varieties, and each one was delicious. Our waiter, Chris, was exceptional—he was attentive, humorous, and very accommodating. This was the best service my partner and I have experienced in a long time! We can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
Best part was the live music on weekends for brunch. Amazing woman singer and a guitarist with here. Group of 12 for bottomless brunch, taking majority of the store table. Service was pretty slow on refills and drinks were premade, with barely any champagne. Food was disappointing since menu looked great. Tar tar came out warm, some food was soggy. Friendly staff tho and parking was kind of hard.
I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is fantastic, and I went there with my family, who all agree with me. For our visit, we dined in for lunch. I would rate the food a solid 4, the service was excellent at 5, and the atmosphere also deserves a 5. Highly recommend!
