When I called the bakery manager to address the issue, she was incredibly rude. She claimed they had 25 cake orders and that the baker had made a mistake, but insisted this is how they make their cakes. She said if I didn't like it, that wasn't her problem, and abruptly stated that she was busy and had to go, leaving me without any resolution. She didn't offer a refund or a replacement cake to apologize for the mistake. Frankly, she should not be in a management position as she clearly lacks the skills to communicate with customers properly.
This establishment serves high-quality pastries, bread, cold cuts, and cakes, with the Strawberry Sfoglia cake being a standout. Their chocolate donuts and twists are also exceptional. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, making it an excellent place to stop for an espresso and a pastry on the move. I've been a regular for many years, and it's a delightful family-run business.
This was my second visit to this Italian bakery, and I highly recommend going early in the morning for the freshest selection. Even on a weekday morning, there were quite a few customers in line. I tried a cannoli, and it was absolutely delicious! The customer service was excellent as well. I definitely suggest stopping by to experience it for yourself.
This charming little Italian bakery offers delicious food and has a friendly, helpful staff. The Amaretti cookies are fantastic and come in a great variety. You could attempt to make them at home, but why go to the trouble when you can easily get them here? Everything else is delightful as well! Réservez une table maintenant
