I took my husband and daughters to Cork Cap to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our experience could not have been any better! The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. I had one of the best crab cakes I've ever had and we all shared and enjoyed creme brulee, which was out of this world. The beef wellington was melt in your mouth delicious. I was shocked when I got the bill as my husband and I both had one cocktail each and we had four meals plus two desserts. It was less, than we typically pay for the two of us. Couldn't say enough about our experience.
This is a very good restaurant, we arrived about 30 minutes early for our reservation so we decided to go to the bar and wait. The cocktails we had at the bar were very good. We tried the crab dip appetizer thinking like so many appetizers this was going to be a teaser but we were so wrong! This appetizer was not only delicious but the serving was definitely abundant. Our dinner was great and our server Karen was so nice! My only “gripe” it was a bit loud in there but that is something you can get over when the food and service was so good.
This was my second time here and I brought a couple friends with me. Our waiter was Mike and he was excellent. The food was so good. I had the pork chop, my hubby had the beef Wellington and our friends had duck and crab cake. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Great ambiance. Love the decor.
What a great place. Our waiter Mike was attentive and fun. The food was awesome. I had the old fashion and beef Wellington. So good. It was an excellent place to spend my anniversary dinner.
