after last night on a slow wed night I was humiliated by the bartender who said she would not serve me. Then continued to humiliate me because I had an issue years where my sugar dropped. (I PASSED OUT) Mid summer She said she had just started working. And I made it her worst shift ever.now she's a manager named Nicole. This lady has embarrassed me. Told me I'm apparently on drugs and kicked me out of her establishment. At first I had no idea what her issue was with me. When she started have the staff approach me as she yelled across the full bar that I am banned to to her false allegations. People looked at me like I was a menace. So embarrassing. All this because of a health complication....
The food at this restaurant is outstanding, however, my recent experience with their takeout service was less than satisfactory. I ordered through Grubhub and received my order with 3 wet glass bottles packed in a paper bag without any buffer like cardboard. As a result, the bottles tore through the bottom of the bag, causing one of them to strike my toe and break it in 3 places. I had to cover the costs of doctors' visits, X-rays, Ubers, and more, resulting in a 6-week recovery period. When I contacted the restaurant to address the issue, they denied responsibility and offered to pass my information along to the owner, who has yet to reach out to me. I find it unacceptable that they refuse...
I 'm a little late on this review, as I went in here on April 19th but im just making a review now because I 've decided to use Yelp more but anyway, the bartender was rude. As soon as my friend and I walk in, the bartender yells across the room from behind the bar I NEED TO SEE YOUR ID with some attitude. Geez, have a security guard at the entrance if you 're going to bark at us like that, or at least let us sit down first. I understand my friend and I look young but regardless. I don 't remember her name but it was a white woman that was about 40+. Came here for food and a beer and the food was great. There was nothing wrong with the beer. The vibe wasn 't too much of a homely one but not...
Excellent local bar with an always friendly staff. They have a selection of great local NJ breweries like Ghost Hawk, Brix City, etc. On the food side they make killer chicken wings: we've tried the buffalo and dry rub and both are really flavorful. We haven't tried their hamburgers although they look fantastic (we don't eat red meat). The only thing I would complain about is that the lighting is a bit weird here. It's almost too bright and needs to be a bit more subdued or warmer. But that's no biggie to get in the way of the great eats and service you get here. Réservez une table maintenant
From moment I got in and looked at the beer selection I was hooked and the great service being able to communicate with the manager as if he was just one of the workers amazing. Food was phenomenal normally I don 't eat burgers but their burger was exceptional. Definitely a great vibe, cozy setup, I 'll be back !
The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the prices were great. We ordered quesadillas, hamburgers, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. The portions were generous, we couldn't finish everything! Overall, everything was very good. Réservez une table maintenant
