Truly delightful. I didn't realize how popular this place was because I came late on a rainy weekday. The food was delicious, the servers attentive and the ambience charming. I ordered the duck on duck (duck egg on top of duck breast on top of creamy grits). I'm a sucker for grits (from the South after all) but sometimes find it hard to finish a whole bowl since it can be too creamy. I think the salty duck breast balanced the creamy grits perfectly so I was able to eat the whole thing. My friend ordered a scramble-ful with onions and mushrooms. It was a huge platter of food filled with carbs and protein. I think it's the equivalent of 3 normal meals for me. My favorite part of the meal was t...

The servers and management are always very nice. And I wouldn't turn down The Corner Restaurant if a friend wanted to go there. But, the food quality just isn't great in my book. They have an intriguing menu, but I always leave wishing I'd had a better meal. I got the Meshuggah bagel sandwich which had a fried egg, bacon and caramelized shallot cream cheese. The cream cheese and bacon were both yummy. But the egg was disgraceful. It was more like a hardboiled egg in the shape of a fried egg. The yolk was hanging out of the sandwich, clearly as stiff as can be, and the chef still sent it out. The hash brown potato that came with, tasted like it had just been removed from the freezer and defro...

Now, let's talk about the food—it was delicious! I ordered the Hashes with corn beef, which came loaded with a variety of vegetables, sweet potatoes, a poached egg, and a choice of protein. It was great to find a healthy option that was also incredibly tasty. My husband opted for the biscuits and gravy, which he also enjoyed. He had fresh-squeezed orange juice with his meal, priced at $3.50 for a small glass—a very reasonable cost. Overall, their prices were competitive, and our total bill came to $23, which I consider quite fair for the quality of food we received. Our server, Chloe, was attentive and friendly, enhancing our dining experience. I would definitely recommend checking out The...

I didn't have to wait long for a table for two on a Sunday morning, but larger groups of four or more were advised to be a bit patient. There's outdoor seating along the sidewalk, which is nice. The hostess greeted us warmly, and our server was equally pleasant. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot. The French toast was delicious, and the sweet potato hash, packed with veggies and topped with avocado, was simply outstanding. There's ample seating throughout the restaurant, and the bar area has a charming rustic decor. Metered parking is available nearby. ~Christy Réservez une table maintenant

had breakfast here with friends two days in a row while visiting for a much needed break from the chaos. these were massive pancakes. two and i was full. the pecans were nicely spiced. i cant really describe it... i think some combination of things like cloves, ginger, cinnamon, can't really say for sure but it was good. and the wine poached pears were a nice touch too day 2, no photos, but i had a scramble with roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, and goat cheese definitely recommended as a breakfast place in westport and near country club plaza

Worth the wait. They told us it would be around an hour wait for a Sunday morning, which was totally fine and we just went for a walk. Lots of cute shops to look at nearby. They let you have coffee while you wait. The service is superb. I felt like the server was a family friend which was very comforting. The breakfast food was amazing. Coffee is perfect. Such a cute layout on the inside. Definitely recommend.

Amazing breakfast joint! Their kitchen produces delicious homestyle cooking with fresh ingredients. TRY THE GRITS absolutely amazing. The chicken and biscuits are definitely better than most. Chicken is moist on the inside, and the biscuit is fluffy. The gravy is a savory addition. Try it with a fried egg on top, for an added bonus. Especially enjoyed the boozy coffee cocktail.

I visited the area and was recommended this place, and I'm so glad I did. You really can't go wrong here. It's incredibly cozy and inviting. Réservez une table maintenant

Absolutely amazing, again! Second time I have been there. I don't live in KC so I only have the opportunity every once in a while. Hangover Cure I had this this time pictured.
