had a pick-up order from here. I got the hunch fried chicken with kartoffel and mais. Of course, also had to get a cinnamon roll. my job was ready when it should be, it was all hot and fresh when I got it home and everything was right. I will not pollute my whole kitchen for myself, so corner cafe is a great place for a meal that is about cooked to house as they get without really cooking for themselves. myhun fried huh was obviously a freshly broken and fried piece huhn instead of a frozen plump. my cinnamon roll can have been shortened or not on its outer ring or two, but they are big cinnamon rolls and they would have got it almost in the box. it was made for them by having many icing. ov...
Just had the best meal ever!!!! I have traveled all over the country and parts of the world and this was hands-down the absolute best. Betty was an amazing server. Part of a great meal is great service and it was just heavenly. I flew in from Arizona yesterday and my son and I drove from St Louis to spend some time in Kansas City and get Kansas City barbecue. We took a diversion and went to the corner Cafe instead and man am I glad we did! Thank you for great food and great service at an amazing price. We purchased bakery goods to go. Oh, did I mention the homemade rolls?? WowZers!!! We took a dozen but I considered two!
Excellent Comfort food. We're from Georgia and visiting here was on our list of food to try. We were not disappointed. I had the homemade chicken and noodles it was excellent. Catfish was crispy good. Turkey was excellent and last but not least Missouri Mud Slide just melts in your mouth. Service was excellent. Friendly servers. Thank You Corner Cafe Riverside.
Eaten here since I was a little one. My mother was a fantastic cook and it was one if the only places we would go out to eat because it was up to her standards. I love it. Their pot roast is amazing. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu really. Best breakfast in KC far as I am concerned. Réservez une table maintenant
The banana split pie, cinnamon rolls and biscuits are DELICIOUS! I've gone there just for those items. I've not found as much satisfaction in the hot meals. I don't eat meat and they don't have very many options for such a diner. All in all though, I like it. It has an old country store feel.
