It's a very nice place average atmosphere, Foods good ,the only thing is you have to go to the front counter and give your order, and then they bring it to you. I have visited this restaurant on multiple occasions and tried the Bleu Burger and the jalapeno burger, both of which were delicious. I suggest opting for the Seasoned fries instead of the regular ones. The service was very friendly, which is typical for a small town in South Dakota. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 4 out of 5. The price per person ranges from $10 to $20. This is a great spot for a casual lunch.
This is the perfect stop for lunch with the kids during a long drive through South Dakota on Highway 212. The American diner serves delicious comfort food. Travel through Clark. Stopped in for lunch. Peggy knee the lady who owned the flower shop next store so I decided to stop in for tea and lunch while waiting for Peggy. First off: Friendly staff. Almost never open. Food just so so. Wish things were better- sorry. It is tolerable for breakfast but nothing special , honestly.
