at the tour on the bikes we have asked for an too late space on the day without notice. even in a busy night the reception was attentive and friendly, the room was impeccable. our thanks to claire (hopefully I have her name right) who worked the late layer. they made us very welcome and were there in the morning to serve a high quality breakfast. a very pleasant stay. m. d. vancouver canada
we spent the last two weeks here. wonderful. rooms are nice beds comfortable. strong shower and plenty of hot water. room was on the main street, but was not really loud and we had the windows all staff very friendly opened. really good breakfast. they have to try the black pudding. good choice. that is a hidden gem. great if you want to visit this part of Scotland
Amazing food, nice decor and immaculate in all places, very friendly and attentive staff too. I couldn't believe we only paid £26 for 1 starter 2 mains and 2 drinks and the quality was great my partner loved that her chicken burger was a grilled breast and not the fried breadcrumb you get in most places, peppercorn sauce was nicest I've had in a while

delicious food, great prices. friendly atmosphere we ate outside in the beer garden. only critique was that tables were dirty and were not cleaned between the customers. disappointed! Otherwise it would be 5 stars.
