Disappointing display of incompetence and lack of hospitality Last Saturday evening I visited this restaurant as part of a group of 20 people for which we had originally made a reservation for 25 people. Due to last minute cancellations, we were unfortunately unable to show up with the full number, which can happen with larger groups and is usually met with understanding. Not so in this restaurant: The manager approached our table and, in front of the entire group, pointed out to me in an unfriendly and arrogant tone that “each unoccupied chair costs 30 euros”. On a Saturday night we decided to try a visit to a local Italian, no reservation meant we were seated at a bar for 10 mins before being given a table,An extremely busy vibe inside as to be expected in an obviously popular venue. Dishes chosen were a pasta arabiatta and a saltimboca a al romana.both delivered promptly. Excellent quality served with a small side and a small focaccia, desserts so good from a small selection.5 choices of original origin grappa's. Had pizza here one evening, service was good, prices were average and the pizzas were tasty. The restaurant is well designed and smart, very clean. There is nothing to distinguish this restaurant from thousands of others, nothing very individual stands out. But our pizzas and...salad were fine, the beer was good and we left satisfied.
