Cortisen am See

We ate only once here during our stay at this excellent hotel (I have reviewed it separately). For me, the meal was not a highlight. I suspect that Masterchef lovers may be happier than I was. Personally, I felt the artistic presentation of the food didn't justify the high price. And I feel that after 3 or 4 courses you should be left at least fairly full - perhaps I'm just greedy?

Had a fantastic stay at this great hotel in the beautiful St Wolfgang. Warmly welcomed to a lovely room. Fabulous breakfast room overlooking the lake, was a perfect start to the day. Evening meal was high end restaurant quality and the biggest wine list I have ever seem. Staff did all they could to make this a great stay.

Great restaurant, serving a set menu for Christmas dinner!Food presentation was amazing!Even though we were not guests of the hotel, the staff was happy to accommodate us and it was an unforgetable experience!The menu was really good, great value for money!Food was tasty and service impecable!Highly recommended!

We at both dinner and breakfast here and it was really good. The owner has a great wine collection from around the world. Service is first class. The setting is right on the lake by candle lights.

Stayed here a few years back and it was like a hotel on the moon, no atmosphere. Rules were VERY strict, food was lovely but it was just a little to stiff and not at all relaxing.
