I went with my friend for a morning coffee, as we like costa coffee. my coffee was very weak, so I asked a little more coffee in, I didn't ask for a new one as I could see that they were busy instead. they made me another coffee and it tasted very different and I couldn't drink it. I didn't ask for another person because the staff was not friendly and no smile from each of them. They actually looked angry because my friend left her second coffee she had bought when she didn't enjoy it, but didn't complain. I'm sorry if they don't like their job, but please don't take it on us. will not go long into this two. the personal is not helpful and does not make them welcome.
Use this Costa more than any other, and always think they need to move it; like they've just done in Caterham. Redhill might deliver the best service, due to extremely efficient staff, providing great drinks, but the cafe is more like a dull dingy cave....It is rare that you can't get seating, but it's not a welcoming atmosphere. The 4/6 seats outside are usually occupied by the smokers so that does not supply any relief either.
This Costa is the same as any other Costa you will be able to visit up and down the country. The staff are kind and make an effort to remember their regulars, such as myself. The manager always seems keen to help, a nice touch...in such a busy cafe. The food has never looked appetising, especially considering there are many other places to eat in Redhill.
Close by our favourite supermarket we frequently take a break to have a snack coffee in they Costa. Whilst small the staff are efficient manage the queue very well, unless the lunchtime rush overwhelms them. Variable seating, little outside seating usually smokers;...but good coffee.
